The employees of Omnisal GmbH respect legal regulations, legal prohibitions and obligations as well as these principles in all of their work and work-related activities. The company and its employees adhere to the ethical values set out in this Code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The protection of personal data, especially data about employees, customers and suppliers, is particularly important to Omnisal GmbH. Employees shall ensure compliance with the legal provisions on data protection in the course of their work. In particular, they do not collect or process any personal data unless this is permitted by law or the person concerned has given their prior consent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The company&#8217;s relationship with its employees <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Omnisal GmbH recognizes that the most valuable and fundamental building block in a company is its people. Fundamental to the company and its prosperity is a strong and solid relationship with all employees, based on mutual respect and human dignity. The creed of Omnisal GmbH is the ETI base code and moral integrity. When selecting new employees for the Omnisal GmbH team, emphasis is placed on positive energy, the ability to inspire energy in others, follow through, courage to take unpopular but necessary decisions, passion for the cause, open and courteous behaviour, adaptability, discipline, fairness and, above all, respect and consideration for people. Important indicators in the evaluation include the GEMBA culture, i.e. the effort to continuously improve processes, shorten them (reducing costs and increasing efficiency) in order to achieve their stability and thus the repeatability of product batches in terms of their chemical and physical properties. Of course, the exchange of information between employees and management leads to the development of knowledge and expertise as well as the promotion of self-learning.&nbsp;Omnisal GmbH promotes and develops these values in its employees. Employees are provided with good working conditions, fully complying with the requirements of labour legislation and the relevant conventions of the International Labour Organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Omnisal GmbH is constantly striving to improve the safety and quality of the working environment for its employees, and the company&#8217;s investments are geared towards this. All relevant regulations on occupational health and safety and employee health care are complied with. The company and its employees provide equal opportunities to people regardless of race, colour, sex, nationality, religion, ethnicity or other distinguishing characteristics. No discrimination or harassment of any kind is allowed. Employees are stimulated to develop themselves by our offering of training and education that supports their growth and qualification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cooperation between employees and the resolution of any misunderstandings <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Omnisal GmbH is aware that well-functioning working relationships, an atmosphere of mutual cooperation between employees and team spirit are the basis for the company\u2019s successful development and business. Employees are always friendly when performing their work tasks and communicating with their colleagues. No employee disparages colleagues or misrepresents or withholds information needed to complete work assignments. Employees shall never put their own personal interests or those of a third party before the interests of the company and shall never unreasonably refuse necessary assistance to colleagues in the performance of their work tasks. If a dispute arises between employees, they seek a solution with the interests of the company in mind and, if no agreement is reached, immediately inform their superiors who will help resolve the issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Protecting the company&#8217;s good name <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Employees are obliged at all times, even in their non-work activities, to act and behave in the knowledge that they represent Omnisal GmbH and that their actions, appearances or statements must not disparage or ever damage the employer\u2019s good name and reputation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The role of managers<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Managers set an example for other employees by their attitudes toward what management should do. They shall at all times observe the ethical principles set out in this Code in their actions, conduct and behaviour and in their representation of the company. Managers are required to instruct and encourage their employees to comply with this policy. At regular intervals, managers are evaluated on their employees&#8217; commitment to and implementation of the company&#8217;s values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Commercial relations and competition <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Omnisal GmbH complies with the laws of open and fair competition in each market it enters with its products and acts in such a way that it does not commit either a violation of antitrust (antimonopoly) law or the law on unfair competition. Employees are required to conduct themselves in a manner that does not violate anti-trust laws or engage in unfair competition: In particular, employees do not cooperate in any way with competitors on the market and do not provide or exchange information about Omnisal GmbH with other parties, in particular on costs, pricing strategies, offers, sales conditions, licensing relationships, selection of suppliers, etc., or disclose such information to competitors. Employees do not negotiate with others to act jointly in the market, in particular to fix prices, allocate the market or apply certain commercial conditions or to act jointly in tendering procedures &#8211; or engage in any other unlawful business practices that impede free and fair competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Prohibition of offering and accepting benefits <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No employee of the company will directly or indirectly offer or provide any benefit to any other person or entity for the purpose of inducing them to act in a manner inconsistent with their duties and for the purpose of obtaining, retaining or controlling a business opportunity or securing any other improper advantage in the conduct of the company&#8217;s business. Nor will any employee directly or indirectly solicit or accept any benefit that induces an employee to act contrary to his or her duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Relations with politicians, charitable donations and sponsorship <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Omnisal GmbH does not provide financial resources, especially donations, sponsorships or other support, directly or indirectly to political parties or politicians. Employees may not make any payments for this purpose on behalf of the company or using its funds. The company only provides funds, donations and sponsorships that do not interfere with the company&#8217;s own business activities and do not tend to distort the rules of fair competition. All grants, donations and contributions are always decided first by the CEO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Trade secrets and sensitive information<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Omnisal GmbH protects its trade secrets and confidential information and respects the similar rights of other companies, organisations and persons. Employees shall not obtain confidential information of other companies, organizations and persons by unauthorized means and shall not publicly present or disclose it without their prior permission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Employees are required to treat with discretion any sensitive information disclosed to them or accessed by them in the course of or in direct connection with the performance of their duties for the company. Exceptions are cases where the employee has been expressly relieved of this obligation by the company&#8217;s management or where the violation of this obligation is mandated or ordered by law. Sensitive information is any non-public information the disclosure, use, alteration, loss or destruction of which could cause harm to the company or any other entity to which it relates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company is equipped with information technology and procedures that include controls and security features to ensure a sufficient level of protection for the data of its business partners and customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Accurate and complete financial records <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Omnisal GmbH keeps full records of all its financial transactions and maintains accurate accounting records in accordance with applicable law. Incorrect or fraudulent documentation or reporting is illegal and in violation of this Code. The company&#8217;s financial statements are regularly reviewed by auditors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Omnisal respects anti-money laundering legislation and does not engage in money laundering activities. Employees are required to report suspicious and unusual financial transactions, especially with cash, that may lead to suspicions of money laundering to their supervisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Avoidance of conflicts of interest<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Employees are encouraged to avoid situations where there may be a conflict between their personal interests and those of the company. When dealing with actual and potential customers, suppliers, competitors and, where appropriate, government authorities, employees are obliged to act in the best interests of the company, regardless of their personal benefits or interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each employee must immediately inform his or her supervisor of any situation in which a conflict of interest may arise or has arisen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Protection and use of company property <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Employees will take care to protect the company&#8217;s tangible and intangible assets and to use them efficiently. Each employee is required to report to his\/her supervisor any suspected unauthorized use, misuse or theft of any company property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The employee&#8217;s obligation to protect the company&#8217;s assets also applies to information and intangible assets, in particular intellectual property rights such as trademarks, patents, improvement designs, industrial designs, utility models, etc., as well as know-how, business plans and strategies, information databases, etc. Any unauthorized use, misuse or theft of company property of any kind is a serious violation of work rules and may lead to legal penalties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Care for the environment <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Omnisal GmbH complies with all environmental legislation. The company has a deep respect for nature and the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company takes into account the interests of nature conservation in all its activities, including the development, planning, production, sale and disposal of products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company is EN ISO 14001 certified and has an environmental management system in place, which it continues to improve. Omnisal GmbH is actively involved in the elimination of the consequences of its business activities and tries to minimize the environmental impact of the production process by adjusting its technological procedures.
