Specialist for Accounting & Personnel

Omnisal is a company of FB HOLDING – the largest processor of yellow phosphorus in Europe. At our Wittenberg-Piesteritz site, we produce essential ingredients and functional compounds for food, pharmaceuticals, and other demanding technical applications. Your responsibilities

  • Participation in all operational tasks of financial accounting, including master data maintenance
  • Account assignment and posting of current business transactions, incoming invoices, and travel expenses
  • Preparation, execution, and monitoring of payment transactions
  • Support in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
  • Participation in monthly reporting, operational evaluations, and budget planning
  • Preparation and processing of payroll accounting data in compliance with legal and company requirements for forwarding to the external service provider
  • Monitoring, maintenance and evaluation of electronic time recording
  • Assumption of administrative HR tasks and serving as a contact person for employees in payroll and personnel matters
  • Operational procurement of consumables, operating and office supplies, including solicitation of quotations and order processing
  • Processing and monitoring of incoming goods as well as coordination with the internal approval process
  • Maintenance of operational databases and general commercial administration

Your profile

  • Successfully completed commercial or tax-related vocational training, ideally with an additional qualification in financial, payroll, or balance sheet accounting
  • Sound professional experience in a comparable environment
  • Good knowledge of tax, social security, and labor law
  • At least very good knowledge of German (C1) and good knowledge of English (B1)
  • Confident use of SAP (FI/MM) and Office applications, especially MS Excel
  • Resilience, accuracy, organizational skills, teamwork, and a good grasp of concepts
