Technologist / Process Engineer (m/f/d)

Omnisal is a company of FB HOLDING – the largest processor of yellow phosphorus in Europe. At the Wittenberg-Piesteritz site, we produce essential ingredients and functional compounds for food, pharmaceutical and other demanding technical applications. Your tasks

  • Maintenance and further development of technology for the production of phosphoric acid and phosphates
  • TPM – execution planning / coordination of maintenance, repairs, revisions and inspections required for the operation of the systems, taking into account operational, occupational and plant safety as well as authorisation law
  • Creation and revision of maintenance, servicing and revision plans for the production facilities
  • Ensuring the flow of information within the department and to other interfaces (neighbouring production areas, maintenance, external companies)
  • Creation, editing and revision of process, work and operating instructions
  • Technical support for the qualification (training) of employees
  • Process engineering support for investment projects – Coordination of plant commissioning
  • Participation in the planning of investments and their project planning
  • Checking and commenting on the documentation of new projects
  • Technological development and optimisation of existing production processes, participation in the design of improvement processes
  • Active involvement in occupational and plant safety issues
  • Participation in budget preparation and monitoring compliance

Your profile

  • Completed university or university of applied sciences education as an engineer in chemical process engineering or a comparable specialisation
  • Several years of professional experience, preferably in a company in the chemical industry
  • At least very good knowledge of German (C1) and good knowledge of English (B2) as well as confident use of PC and Office applications
  • You are open and communicative, work in a structured and proactive manner and maintain an overview even in difficult situations. You are able to convince people and harmonise different opinions.
